Watch the first video (the one with the laser coffee) while listening to "Reefer man" by Cab Calloway. Fitting, and is the same length as the video.

Regardless of wattage and blackhole, the REAL question is: are these hotdogs any good?

Sunny Kalara:” not sure about the blackholes”

Again you are not sure. That is a whole problem:

“The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.”

@Matthias : This is not about cooking in the shortest amount of time, it's about using the most fire power with coolest of lightening effects.

Thanks for pointing out that the laser is a 2.5kW laser; the bottom laser sign refers to 300W laser, but considering that it seems to be taking 20 seconds to heat up the cup, 2.5kw sounds correct.

@guess who : not sure about the blackholes but coffee is responsible almost all productive work that gets done in physics labs.

Making coffee with a 300W laser might take some time… based on a rough calculation (4.18 kJ/(kg*K) * 200g * 80K / 300W) it would take more than 3 and a half minutes, not accounting for heat loss.

If I read the laser sign right, it's a 2.5kW Nd:YAG, which gives a more plausible 27 seconds firing time.

“Only Neanderthals use flames to cook, and microwave is so 20th century; let’s use high powered laser beams to make coffee.”

No. It is coffee that makes high power laser beam.

“Here is a clearer picture of Tesla coil cooking hot dogs.”

You intentionally confuse the public. It is the evidence how Tesla coil create the micro-blackholes which propagate towards the center of Earth to eat it.
